Dr. Michelle Turner

Medical Director

Dr. Turner relocated to California to become the new Medical Director at the Emergency Pet Hospital of Redlands. She joins the team all the way from the South East! She received a bachelors in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech in 2004 prior to realizing her passion for veterinary medicine. She then completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia in 2009. After graduation, Dr. Turner spent a short time in general practice before becoming an emergency clinician at SCVSEC in Columbia, SC. She continued to do relief in general practice, spay/neuter, and shelter medicine throughout the south east. After 6 years in emergency medicine, she pursued an opportunity in veterinary industry with Hills Pet Nutrition. Realizing her heart belonged in emergency medicine, she returned to the ER in 2017 as the Emergency Director of Carolina Veterinary Specialists in Rock Hill, SC.

Her primary interests in veterinary medicine include trauma, soft tissue surgery, and feline medicine. She has a passion for teaching and mentoring staff and other veterinarians. Dr. Turner and her husband currently reside in Rancho Cucamonga with their two children.

Kim Turner

Hospital Manager

Kim has a BA degree in Healthcare Administration and has been in the medical field for over 11 years. She has 3 adult children and one grandson who is 4 months old. They have a house full of pets that include 2 Chihuahuas, a Doberman mix, and 2 cats. When she was younger she was a singer in a signed Christian rock band (that you never heard of) called Until Now and she toured America and even went to Russia. Singing is how she met her husband of 8 years David, they play together in an acoustic band with a few other musicians once in a while
