Dr. Diaz is a California native that went to Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, and completed her clinical year at Oregon State graduating with high honors. She is currently studying for her masters level certificate in Emergency Medicine and Surgery, and has attended surgery trainings hosted at the UCI Surgical Education Center. She is a certified cat friendly veterinarian by the American Association of Feline Practitioners, and certified Fear Free therefore always focusing on ensuring pets have a positive experience at the hospital. When she is not at work, she is mentoring new graduates interested in emergency medicine. and reading scholarship applications for veterinary school attendees. She is RECOVER certified, making her a leader in CPR. She is a member of the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society, and her fields of interest include toxicology, trauma cases, analgesia, and critical care. She has 5 cats and one dog, and recently became interested in gardening.
